Langmeier Backup now with more functions

The new version 8.1.52 with improved functionality.

Langmeier Software listens to the feedback of its users: The Swiss provider of backup solutions has expanded the range of functions of its backup products after evaluating user requests. The latest update is available free of charge and makes the software even more reliable and user-friendly.

The main new features at a glance:

• Sending logs by e-mail: Administrators can now see the success of the data backup from the email subject. In addition, the port for sending can be flexibly selected in the screen mask, which provides additional security.
  
• Input language: Users can select any input language for the bootable emergency medium.
  
• Burner driver: The software also offers improved burner driver support for burning the bootable emergency CD.
  
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012 Essentials: Langmeier Backup now also backs up files under the server solution for small companies with up to 25 employees and 50 end devices.

In addition, when backing up to FTP servers, only the changed data can now be transferred - a full backup is no longer necessary. Langmeier Software has also improved the encryption of the File Transfer Protocol (FTPS). This now works with all server configurations. In addition, it is now also possible to send the e-mail protocol via T-Online.
