Why are well optimized processes so important?

Well-optimized processes are the cornerstone of success not only in saturated markets. A market player that has optimized its processes better than anyone else has an immense advantage over its competitors.

Example: a printing company in Switzerland optimizes its processes in such a way that it now has everything printed in Poland and only operates marketing and the website in Switzerland. This gives it a significant advantage over its competitors. The print shop can lower its prices so low that the competition collapses in rows. The competition only loses ground thanks to their classic, rigid and non-optimized business processes and has to watch a winner take the whole piece of the pie for themselves.

This example essentially shows quite clearly that companies that do not constantly review and optimize their business processes are the losers of the future. However, those companies that constantly review and optimize their processes are the ones that are well equipped for the future.
